What are the benefits?
Using your pre-tax dollars you’re already setting aside in your HSA or FSA accounts can save you an average of 30% on your memberships. Because Misogi is an all-inclusive facility, you can use your dollars to purchase any of our memberships or drop-in pass packs. The biggest obstacle for most people with qualifying conditions tends to be obtaining a Letter of Medical Necessity, which is required for reimbursement. Our partner, Truemed, provides this letter without having to pay for a doctor visit, potentially saving you hundreds.

Most people receive an LMN in a day or two. After that, you’ll be approved for 12 months!
This one depends on your HSA / FSA provider. In general, these things take a few weeks to process. It definitely helps to be prompt and submit your reimbursements quickly after your billing. We are happy to provide extra copies of receipts if you need.
Because Misogi offers services and not products, we are unable to bill HSA / FSA cards directly. There are several barriers to this that make it difficult for a business like ours to do this. For instance, we would need to have a certified nurse on site at all times and submit paperwork after every visit, which would cause us to incur significant cost.
This is the Truemed business model. They have medical professionals on staff who review each application and verify with their HSA / FSA provider that they are eligible. Your fee covers this process, and your letter is good for a full year.
For a limited time, we will cover the cost for you! If you show us your Truemed receipt, we will add a $20 credit to your account that you can use to pay for services, whether you are approved or not. So you really have nothing to lose!
Yes. If you have any of the conditions listed above, you should be able to qualify. If you suspect you have one of these conditions, but don’t yet have a diagnosis, you will need to visit your own doctor. They can provide you with a Letter of Medical Necessity as well, but for most people, the $20 Truemed fee is considerably lower than the cost of a doctor’s visit.
